  • Only white polystyrene or Styrofoam will be accepted
  • Loose packaging peanuts” are not accepted; they can be dropped off at local UPS stores

Residents can drop off their Styrofoam at any of the locations listed below:

  • 715 Linden Avenue (front porch, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., 7 days a week)
  • 2024 Greenwood Avenue (behind home, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., 7 days a week)
  • 1139 Manor Drive (front porch, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., 7 days a week)
  • Public Works Facility, 711 Laramie Avenue (inside front office, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m., M – F)

Additional information about recycling Styrofoam all year round:

Solid white (block) polystyrene/Styrofoam (PS #6) is not recycled through the residential curbside program! This is due to limitations of processing capacity at the large scale sorting facilities and fluctuations of global demand in the marketplace. However, clean ‘clam-shell’ food containers are accepted as part of the Village’s curbside recycling program. This Holiday Styrofoam recycling collection provides residents with an opportunity to recycle more traditional forms of Styrofoam, including those used in the packaging of appliances and larger goods.
