Gear Up For Biking: Oh the Places You'll Go! Come learn all about bicycling and get ready to ride at the Wilmette Public Library. Bring unused bikes to recycle. Featured speaker at 1:45pm: Michel Leger, founder of the famed Route Verte in Quebec. Local experts and enthusiasts will be on hand to discuss: Planning bicycle trips Getting ready to ride Finding local bike routes and rides Buying a new bike Finding a good commuting route Equipping your bike with baskets, racks and bags Choosing safety equipment Performing basic maintenance Fitting your helmet Selecting bike gear Children are welcome.
