| Description: |
Food, Inc exposes some harsh facts about our nation's food industry, including how our food supply is now controlled by a handful of corporations that often put profit ahead of consumer health, the livelihood of the American farmer, the safety of workers and the environment. This Academy Award nominated film reveals surprising-and often shocking truths-about what we eat and how it is produced. A discussion led by Beth Drucker and Elizabeth Matlin of Go Green Wilmette will follow the screenings. Two film showings are scheduled: Wednesday, May 5th at 7pm and Saturday, May 8th at 2pm.
