Please join us on April 21 at 1:00pm at the Wilmette Public Library (lower level)to learn how to: Discuss green lawn care options with your service provider. Avoid the harmful effects of gas-powered leaf blowers and mowers and choose cleaner, quieter alternatives. Have a beautiful, healthy lawn without the use of chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides. Incorporate gardens and wildflowers to attract butterflies and birds. Conserve water and keep more rainfall in the soil and out of sewer systems (and your basement.) Start composting yard and kitchen waste. |
